The sensor detects lightning strikes and updates the Live Data page of the WS View Plus or Ecowitt app with the number of strikes daily, as well as the time and distance of the last strike detected. Users can also monitor and record lightning strike history on the Ecowitt Weather server (ecowitt.net), accessible via smartphone, laptop, or computer.
